Recap of CSNStores.com

It seems like I may have over explained the CSNStores deal and scared a few people off so I decided that I'd readdress this deal in a simpler fashion instead of rambling on like last time ;)

Right now (I'm not sure how long it will last) they are offering new users who are referred to the site through special links a $15, no obligation, credit with their site. As soon as you sign up, the code loads up directly on the page after you register and it also gets emailed to you as well.

You can use this $15 for anything at all on the site and the variety is really impressive.

Carson Booklights: 3 styles available at $9.00 each
Wall art like Starry Night: They have tons of pieces for under $2 each
27 Piece Toy Dish Set: $9.95

There's a lot more than that as well.

With the economy still in shambles, and Christmas right around the corner, every little bit helps - even if you just grab a toy for one of the children on your shopping list it's well worth the couple of minutes you'll spend to sign up and get that $15 free gift credit!

If your friends or family join under your referral link, you can earn even more from CSNStores, up to an extra $150 to use on their site!

Awesome! Thanks Monika :)

I'm thinking about making a cumulative post of all the goodies that we snag hehe

I tried to use the promo code on a Melissa and Doug Puzzle, but it appears the promo code only applies to the item price and not shipping & handling. Did you run into this as well?

Hmm that's strange... I actually went for a $15.99 M&D set for my son, so I didn't run into that problem :(

The welcome mail didn't say anything about it not covering shipping but I guess that's pretty standard - I had assumed that since there was no disclosure about it that it wasn't the case though.

Getting a M&D puzzle for about $6 still wouldn't be terrible though, since that's about half off, but I'm sorry the shipping isn't free - I wish the email had said that somewhere.

Yeah, still a nice discount in the end. I'll browse a higher price range knowing that now, to take advantage of the full $15! lol.

No I haven't used mine yet.Shipping for me really adds up. I'll look for something really nice.

LOL that's the spirit Monika - I agree, if it doesn't count for shipping then milk it! I did (unintentionally) haha

I don't blame you for looking for something nice either Theody, you may as well.

I'm second guessing my purchase and thinking I should have gone for the blender instead of the toy for my son... even with shipping I would have paid about $15 for the blender.

I tried signing up using your referral link, unfortunately, this is the message I received.

"Thank you for your interest in CSN’s Refer a Friend Program, we are currently not accepting new Rewards members. Please check back later."

I think I need to be a little quicker next time:)

I saw the $15 credit posted on a blog this morning. Due to all the people that signed up, CSN killed the deal.

I'm sorry Kimber and Carla - I'm really upset because I don't think anyone actually took advantage of it yesterday.

I was going to make my family members do it today if no one else did, but now I can't :(

I just wanted to offer the opportunity to people who needed it first. Live and learn I guess lol

The $15 dollar credit is also no good unless you spend a total of $50. I posted about this on my blog a little bit ago.

I just got my letter from them as well! I wrote a civil but firm email back to them, and included the sign up email that gave the credit code.

No where on the site or the welcome email did it put any stipulations on the code about amount spent or not applying towards shipping and handling.

It appears that it was just a big publicity stunt unfortunately it's going to result in purely negative publicity (I hope).
